Pamukkale, which means "Cotton Castle" in Turkish, is a stunning natural site known for its white, terrace-like formations created by calcium deposits. Fed by 17 hot springs, the travertines have been a health retreat for centuries. On top of Pamukkale lies the ancient city of Hierapolis, once home to Greek and Roman civilizations. While visiting, you can explore the travertines, dip in Cleopatra's Pool, or check out landmarks like the Amphitheater, the Necropolis, and the Temple of Apollo.
Ephesus, nestled in Turkey's Aegean region, is an ancient city with roots dating back to the 10th century BC.
